Locals of the town of Kiryat Yam have been congregating on the coast in the hopes of seeing one of the most beautiful mythological creatures of the sea-a mermaid.
The mermaid was first spotted by Shlomo Cohen and a group of friends when they "suddenly saw a woman lying on the sand in a weird way".
